WHAT TO EXPECT

My approach to yoga therapy.

  • Nurturing environment is important to me, it can help you be more present with yourself in a homey and welcoming environment.

    Offering support,  guidance, one-to-one and in group classes in which communities come to practice together.

  • Supporting breathing, relaxation through difficult techniques . 

    Self care practices through exercise, healthy eating, sleeping and support  from ones close to you eg family ,friends or other therapists that can be recommended.

  • This a Mind, body, breath practice using tools to give support to move safely, guide you into relaxation alleviate stress and to achieve your personal wellness goal  : physical postures, breathing and relaxation in a space that is nurturing to your unique needs. 

  • Depending on your needs, we modify traditional yoga poses & routines to be suitable for individuals with disabilities, chronic illnesses, seniors, or those who cannot easily use a standard yoga mat.

  • Yoga offers us a lot physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. 

    Many feel discouraged to practice when they see young, slim, flexible, well, and able-bodied people in yoga studios.

    Yoga therapy is a practice for all with huge benefits as our bodies change, age, and navigate many health challenges.

    We deserve to practice it in what- ever state we find our body or mind.

GET TO KNOW SARAH

Hello, it’s great to welcome you to my yoga therapy space.

Yoga has been a part of my journey since my mother introduced it to me at the age, 17. This was when my path changed, and yoga became a significant part of my life.

After having my children, I lived in West Africa, and my yoga path continued and became a yoga teacher. I loved teaching yoga and am very thankful for all the lovely memories of the amazing people who came to practice yoga.
